Today, May 15, 2019, the guifi· project net is celebrating. It has been 15 years since the first links (Radio Link) of the common network of guifi·net were established in the region of Osona:
Gurb - Vic - Santa Eugènia de Berga and Calldetenes
The project has not stopped growing since that day, both in the number of connected people through the shared network, as well as volunteers, operator companies offering access services to end users, neighborhood associations or municipalities signing collaboration agreements with the guifi·net Foundation to promote network deployments, whether through radio links or fiber optic.
Therefore, we celebrate that thanks to all these people, the project continues more alive than ever!
