Richard Stallman convidat del proper Guifilab del divendres 25 de novembre

The TecnoCampus Auditorium in Mataró will host the talk "Free computing and its enemies"
We are very excited to announce that next Friday, November 25 at 7:00 p.m. we will have the luxury and unprecedented opportunity to have the presence of Richard Stallman within the Guifilabs cycle, the laboratories of the guifi·net community.
The Auditorium of the TecnoCampus de  #Mataró  (building TCM2)  will host the talk "Free Software and its Enemies" by the creator of GNU and the Free Software movement.

Who is Richard Stallman? He is the creator of the Free Software movement. In the 80s, at MIT, Stallman created this movement to defend that the source code of software should be freely accessible and distributable. According to Stallman, not allowing access to the source code of software restricts users' freedom and enslaves them, allowing abuse and control of the same users by third parties. Stallman also created the Free Software Foundation to support the GNU project and its ethical reading of software. The Free Software movement has had a great influence, beyond the world of software. Its vision advocates that human knowledge should be free and has permeated other areas of knowledge such as science, culture, telecommunications, etc.
For more information, location, and registration for the talk, check the website of matarosensefils.net.
From the guifi·net Foundation, we want to thank the work to make this unprecedented opportunity possible for the organization of Mataro Sense Fils.
We look forward to seeing you there!
